Decks to look out for september 1st part 3:Agents

Hello fellow peoples, i'm back with another edition of decks to look out for. This time i'll be talking about one of my fav decks and the deck that i'm playing currently: Agents. This deck was born a long time ago(probably when the pyramids were still young), however it really began to shine just this year with the release of Sd20 lost sanctuary. That set gave agents a boss monster, a searcher, more consistency and a beater. This deck has been successful in the ocg, and has topped events in the tcg. It even won worlds(even though it is rumored the guy cheated, but whatever).

This deck will no doubt in my mind be good this format because of two reason:it didnt get hit by the banlist, and this deck is fairly cheap, probably cheaper than sworns. I will not include tour guide as a reason mainly because everybody is using it. I don't even run tour guide in my agents cuz i feel its not a necessity(and i dont want to waste 600 dollars on 3 cards). That's all i have for right now

Decks to look out for september 1st part 2:lightsworn/twilight

What's up people, its grant here for part 2 of the decks to look out for the next banlist. This deck is no doubt gonna be good, it is one of my old favorites:LIGHTSWORNS. As u probably know, lightsworns are light attributed monsters with effects that mill cards from the top of the deck. Wow, this deck pretty much hardly uses skill, with more focus on luck in being able to bring out the legendary JUDGMENT DRAGON!!!. If lightsworns bring out this beast followed with 1 or 2 more copies, it basically declared "GAME OVAH!" Hence why this card got put to 2,but that still made lightsworns broken(to the point where children cried, scrubs beat skilled players(most of the time), and to the point where konami had enough). With the past hits of lumina to 1,charge to 1,necro to 1 and honest to 1, lightsworns seemed like they died down(with the exception of those dedicated lightsworn players),however they aren't now

This format may as well be called "the revenge of lightsworns."Reason why: The september 2011 banlist gives the deck new power like never before with the semi limitation of tragoedia and necro gardna, as well as the unlimitation of judgment dragon. Wow, that isnt very good(sarchastically). Well, time to break out my kycoos and veilers cuz they're gonna have a workout this format. To conclude, i hope they emergency semi limit jd or bring the priority ruling to the tcg.Otherwise i'd better watch out, i'd better not cry, i'd better not pout, i'm telling u why:LIGHTSWORNS ARE COMING TO TOWN.

Formula Synchron: Combo enabler
Heavy Storm: Thank Jesus, this card is back. Best Move Ever.
Primal Seed: Combos with envoy
Smoke signal: Another hit to sams.

Summoner Monk: It's fine this card comes back
Necro Gardna-Wow, i never thought they would do it.
Tragoedia-Um, ok that's kinda cool
Dewloren- This had to happen.
D draw- give d heroes a chance

Decks to look out for september 1st part 1:blackwings

Hey its grant again. I'm going to do a 3 part discussion on some of the decks to look out for next format. Although the banlist isnt out yet, im pretty sure the 3 decks that i discuss will be a challenge next format.
For the first part i will talk about blackwings.
As you probably know, blackwings are dark attributed winged beasts that debuted in crimson crisis but became meta with the support in raging battle. One thing i like about blackwings is that no matter how hard
konami hits them, they dont die and come back stronger(like elmer fudd and bugs bunny).

At the start of this format, blackwings took a huge beating with the loss of goyo guardian(the best level 6 synchro for blackwings),2 kalut(their honest),2 book of moon(another good defensive card), and 1 icarus attack(their destruction card). Due to these hits, blackwings struggled for survival, but it was hard to beat six sams, miracle gemini, and other fast paced decks. With the release of duelist pack crow, they received one of their best support cards since ancient prophecy-zephyros the elite. Zephyros is like glow up bulb, except you return a card on the field to special summon him, and you take 400 damage(which isnt much as life points don't matter anymore). The combos that you create with zephyros, blackwings gained more popularity again. Plus, with the addition of zephyros, blizzard the far north becomes more crucial than ever and vayu is only needed for shura.

Now that the history lesson is done, let's get down with why i think blackwings will be good next format. I believe that this deck will be good due to generation force and the upcoming banlist. The banlist will not hurt blackwings(except limiting vayu, but u only run 1 now anyway) but decks like sams and plants with some dark world stuff will be the target of this banlist. Also, generation force gives blackwings two new cards to use: steelswarm roach and orient dragon. Steelswarm Roach is easy to make in blackwings as it easily spams level 4s. Plus when u get it out u have a 2 round oppression, add that with some backrow and i say "gg sir."Orient dragon is basically brionac's retarded child that banishes a synchro upon summon. This gives blackwings an out to powerful synchros like stardust and shi en, and its easy to make with blizzard.
Blackwings were kinda down this format but i believe they will shine once more. See you next time
