Im sorry i havent made any posts in a while i have been really busy with school.
SCREW AP CLASSES
Anyways this will be short in saying that i am switching my yugioh career with my magic career. I will now be playing magic competively and probably will not be playing yugioh as much. I still have to process whether or not this is true in my mind but im leaning toward magic.

Decks to look out for september 1st part 3:Agents
Hello fellow peoples, i'm back with another edition of decks to look out for. This time i'll be talking about one of my fav decks and the deck that i'm playing currently: Agents. This deck was born a long time ago(probably when the pyramids were still young), however it really began to shine just this year with the release of Sd20 lost sanctuary. That set gave agents a boss monster, a searcher, more consistency and a beater. This deck has been successful in the ocg, and has topped events in the tcg. It even won worlds(even though it is rumored the guy cheated, but whatever).
This deck will no doubt in my mind be good this format because of two reason:it didnt get hit by the banlist, and this deck is fairly cheap, probably cheaper than sworns. I will not include tour guide as a reason mainly because everybody is using it. I don't even run tour guide in my agents cuz i feel its not a necessity(and i dont want to waste 600 dollars on 3 cards). That's all i have for right now

Decks to look out for september 1st part 2:lightsworn/twilight
What's up people, its grant here for part 2 of the decks to look out for the next banlist. This deck is no doubt gonna be good, it is one of my old favorites:LIGHTSWORNS. As u probably know, lightsworns are light attributed monsters with effects that mill cards from the top of the deck. Wow, this deck pretty much hardly uses skill, with more focus on luck in being able to bring out the legendary JUDGMENT DRAGON!!!. If lightsworns bring out this beast followed with 1 or 2 more copies, it basically declared "GAME OVAH!" Hence why this card got put to 2,but that still made lightsworns broken(to the point where children cried, scrubs beat skilled players(most of the time), and to the point where konami had enough). With the past hits of lumina to 1,charge to 1,necro to 1 and honest to 1, lightsworns seemed like they died down(with the exception of those dedicated lightsworn players),however they aren't now
This format may as well be called "the revenge of lightsworns."Reason why: The september 2011 banlist gives the deck new power like never before with the semi limitation of tragoedia and necro gardna, as well as the unlimitation of judgment dragon. Wow, that isnt very good(sarchastically). Well, time to break out my kycoos and veilers cuz they're gonna have a workout this format. To conclude, i hope they emergency semi limit jd or bring the priority ruling to the tcg.Otherwise i'd better watch out, i'd better not cry, i'd better not pout, i'm telling u why:LIGHTSWORNS ARE COMING TO TOWN.

Formula Synchron: Combo enabler
Heavy Storm: Thank Jesus, this card is back. Best Move Ever.
Primal Seed: Combos with envoy
Smoke signal: Another hit to sams.
Summoner Monk: It's fine this card comes back
Necro Gardna-Wow, i never thought they would do it.
Tragoedia-Um, ok that's kinda cool
Dewloren- This had to happen.
D draw- give d heroes a chance
Swords- nobody cares
Mind Crush- Cool, but nobody cares
Call of the haunted: I'm suprised they did this without banning reborn.

Decks to look out for september 1st part 1:blackwings
Hey its grant again. I'm going to do a 3 part discussion on some of the decks to look out for next format. Although the banlist isnt out yet, im pretty sure the 3 decks that i discuss will be a challenge next format.
For the first part i will talk about blackwings.
As you probably know, blackwings are dark attributed winged beasts that debuted in crimson crisis but became meta with the support in raging battle. One thing i like about blackwings is that no matter how hard
konami hits them, they dont die and come back stronger(like elmer fudd and bugs bunny).
At the start of this format, blackwings took a huge beating with the loss of goyo guardian(the best level 6 synchro for blackwings),2 kalut(their honest),2 book of moon(another good defensive card), and 1 icarus attack(their destruction card). Due to these hits, blackwings struggled for survival, but it was hard to beat six sams, miracle gemini, and other fast paced decks. With the release of duelist pack crow, they received one of their best support cards since ancient prophecy-zephyros the elite. Zephyros is like glow up bulb, except you return a card on the field to special summon him, and you take 400 damage(which isnt much as life points don't matter anymore). The combos that you create with zephyros, blackwings gained more popularity again. Plus, with the addition of zephyros, blizzard the far north becomes more crucial than ever and vayu is only needed for shura.
Now that the history lesson is done, let's get down with why i think blackwings will be good next format. I believe that this deck will be good due to generation force and the upcoming banlist. The banlist will not hurt blackwings(except limiting vayu, but u only run 1 now anyway) but decks like sams and plants with some dark world stuff will be the target of this banlist. Also, generation force gives blackwings two new cards to use: steelswarm roach and orient dragon. Steelswarm Roach is easy to make in blackwings as it easily spams level 4s. Plus when u get it out u have a 2 round oppression, add that with some backrow and i say "gg sir."Orient dragon is basically brionac's retarded child that banishes a synchro upon summon. This gives blackwings an out to powerful synchros like stardust and shi en, and its easy to make with blizzard.
Blackwings were kinda down this format but i believe they will shine once more. See you next time

Generation Force Set Review
Hello, everybody its grant here! Today i will talk about the set Generation force which sneak peek is 6 days away. It is quite the interesting set bring the complete release of xyz monsters(not all but several good ones). Xyzs are summoned by stacking monsters of the same level.Easiest summon yet! Almost wants to make me stak my cards and call "manna"(if you play magic the gathering, which i dont but some of my friends do). Anyway this set brings birth to yugioh zexal and will be released two days after worlds.
What it brings:
This set brings us several deck archtypes such as banisharks and wind-up. Banisharks are basically more aqua support that revolves around the banished zone. It looks like a very interesting deck that i will profile once the set comes out. Wind-up is basically a group of monsters whose effects happen when they are face up and can only use them once while they are face-up.No need to worry about that however, cuz of the rank 4 xyz monster called wind-up zenmaster, which flips face up monsters on your side of the field face down and flips them during the end phase. Both decks sound interesting for new players.
Revival:
This set also revives other cards and archtypes.
Deep Sea diva is now viable in banisharks allowing for synchro and xyz summoning. Wiseman's Chalice(released in duelist rev) is a mind control for xyz monsters, as it steals and revives an oppenent's monster but it cant be used for synchro material but it can for xyz material. Also, zombies come back from the dead thanks to pain painter and blue-blooded oni. Pain painter is basically a plague only on the field that modulates the level of up to two zombie monsters to two until the end phase. It makes archfiend zombie-skull viable, gachi-gachi gantetsu required, and lets you synchro summon the powerful zombie synchros. Blue-Blooded oni is also a zombie which allows you to detatch a xyz material from any xyz monster on your field to special a level 4 or lower zombie from your grave. Zombies not only get another plague but another mezuki as well, but more balanced. Also, heroes become good with e-hero nova master, and the intro to masked and vision heroes and other hero support. I have no doubt heroes will become tier 1 with this and the support in Legendary Collection 2.
Most Notable Cards:
Steelswarm Roach: 2 level 4 monsters required for summon. When a level 5 or higher monster is special summoned, detach one xyz material to negate the summon and destroy it. Wow, this is amazing. Any deck that can spam level 4 will love this card(blackwings, miracle gemini, gks, karakuri,etc.). This card basically tells synchros, fusions, Cyber Dragon, Judgement Dragon, Dark Armed Dragon and others, "Screw the rules, I GOT THE POWER."
Orient Dragon:
When this card is synchro summoned, you can banish one synchro monster. This is pretty cool! This pretty much says the f word to stardust, shi en and other notable cards. This may also be a sign that brionac might get banned due to this basically being a watered-down brionac.
Levair the Sea dragon:
2 level 3 monsters required. Once per turn, you can detach one xyz material to special summon 1 level 4 banished monster. Ah, players that run this card can be happy! No more will players have to cry over their monsters getting removed by D fissure, M Cosmos, Retiari, as well as D.D Crow. This card may as well be the reason why dandy might get banned next format. If you havent seen dubkdad1's video on levair, it has some stupid combos with the plant engine.
Number 34 Terror-Byte
3 level 3 monsters required. Once per turn, you can detach one xyz material to take control of 1 level 4 or lower face up atk position monster your opponent controls until the end phase. Ok, i can use a watered down brain control, cool. This is good with decks that run tour guide.
Tiras and Adreus
They both need 2 level 5 monsters. They both can destroy a card on your oppenent's field. However, Tiras cannot be destroyed by card effects as long as it has xyz materials, but it targets and destroy a card if it attacked or was attacked, and at an end phase you have to detach a xyz material from it. However, Adreus can automatically detach an xyz material from it, to target and destroy a card your oppenent has.
If machinas go up against these two and u target fortress, u lose a card from your hand.Tiras and Adreus are both good cards but can only be used in dark world, fabled, wind up, and a deck that uses gagaga magician(level modulater that can only be used for xyz summoning).
That's my entire thoughts on Generation Force! If konami hits tengu, librarian, trunade and brings heavy back in the next format, I think it will be a very fun, skillful, diverse format until photon shockwave. Until my next post, good bye!

My yugioh banlist predictions for september 2011
Just my predictions for fixing the meta and making the game more skillful.
Forbidden:
t.g hyper librarian
dandylion
future fusion
mind master
giant trunade
monster reborn
Limited:
trishula
avarice
shien's smoke signal
double edged
formula
black rose
heavy
mst
warning
Semi Limited:
tengu
six sam united
dewloren
destiny draw
e tele
book of moon
Reasons:
forbidden
Hyper Librarian-too many combos, busted, only need 1 to win, 2 for backup.
Dandylion-busted combos, easily revivable, effect goes off with xyzs, levair the sea dragon combos
future fusion-ftk
mind master-ftk
giant trunade-once played 80% chance of victory, 15% chance of leaving your oppenent locked down, 5% chance of being negated, has to go
monster reborn-One of my favorite spells, but easily abusable, a free special summon and a great topdeck
has to go
limited
trishula-obvious reasons
avarice- skilless card, if go to 1 it makes players think before they use their avarice
smoke signal- rota for sams, belongs with charge and rota
double edged- a double monster reborn for sams but not broken enough to get banned
formula- even if librarian goes, it enables too many combos
black rose- one of those synchros u should only use once; usually a plus
heavy- the only card that punishes backrow extension, makes players think before they set
mst- cuz heavy came back
warning- A better bottomless that negates a summon that stops the monster's effect. Not good for the game.
semi limited
tengu- it doesn't matter if it is an exclusive, it has to go to 2, its busted and another one of the factors that makes this format luckbased, skilless
six sam united- a pot of greed that rewards sams for special summoning, would limit but i already limited smoke signal and double edged.
dewloren- i honestly believe this card should never have gone back to 3, it enables trish loop and thus returns to its rightful place.
destiny draw-not broken at 2, gives d heroes a chance.
e tele- with mind master banned it is not broken(doubt it will happen though)
book of moon-it is not a threat to the game, u have to know when to use it and when u do its a -1.
